       VETERAN'S DAY JOINT SERVICES DINNER

    HONIES RESTAURANT
    NIKE LEISURE CENTRE
    BINFIELD

    30TH JUNE 2007

This was a special event organised by Paul Bidwell and incorporating veterans of the

    ROYAL NAVY
    ARMED FORCES
    ROYAL AIR FORCE

They had a wonderful 3 course meal ,which I provided background singing for, followed by toast's and speeches
The evening was rounded off with some more singing and audience participation

IT WAS A LOVELY EVENING AND I'M PLEASED TO SAY PEOPLE ENJOYED THEMSELVES.

As people who know me will know, I am not photogenic and am never happy with photo's taken of me, I like to imagine myself as some sylph like stunning older woman and that image is badly shattered by the proof in the photo's. I did however want to share these photo's because the young men in them are photogenic and the photo's were kindly sent to me by Paul. Thank you

       Hello India:
Oh how I loved coming here this morning and hearing your sweet voice again. The last few days have been  hectic  with  our air going on  the  fritz. We had a  service guy come yesterday and we find  out the furnace has to be replaced as the motor is ceased up so that is why it quit. Now that means a new which is going to be installed tomorrow. I was hoping for today as it is going to be a  scorcher. It was a little hard to take with just buying a new trailer or caravan as you would call it. vaughan says thing always seems to happen  in   twos or threes. We have been busy with cleaning out the trailer and the upstairs apartment as the guy who was renting it just up and left and all his belongings are still there and he owes us money so I told Vaughan, " Okay, that's it, no more renting."  I hate the mess they leave  behind and it is getting so you don't know who you can trust any more. Listen to me ranting this morning, sorry, but thanks for letting me vent. I am sure we will all miss you here on spaces. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and taking part in the many  ventures you have had. I loved doing the tribute for Rhianna's birth as I was doing it for you, my dear friend. May life be good to you and thanks so much for sharing your pictures here. By the look on those old solsiers faces, it is plain to see you gave them a lot of pleasure that day and I can tell that you enjoyed doing it too. You are an angel in disguise and I love you to pieces. I will be in touch again. Until then  take care and remember I loves ya......................Rusty  ((HUGS))

Hello India.... It will be nice to come here and listen to you sing.  I have just finished reading around on here to kind of catch up with you.  I love the way the site looks.  I believe you will be less stressed with just managing one site.  Especially when the spaces is upgrading or having problems.  And you are a very pretty lady.  And a proud Nana now too.
    HUGS<
